Job Summary
W Machine Works Inc. is an aerospace company that works on defense parts that are used on jets and helicopters. Candidates are required to inspect the parts they machine and document their findings. The ideal candidate also has experience buying off the first piece of inspection to verify that the part conforms to the print. This person is responsible for creating the tool list and inspection tool list as well They must follow company instructions at all times. In the case of a problem, they notify the Machine Shop Manager. They are also responsible for maintaining 6S..
Typical day includes setting up and running CNC mills. Lots sizes are small so there is never a dull moment.
Machines include Mori Seiki 5-axis machines, horizontal machines and Haas 4-axis machines.
Need to be able to document inspection results and work with Quality Control department to ensure parts are good. You will also need to support our 6S program and keep our shop looking great.
Shop is well maintained, clean and climate controlled. Parts go on major aerospace programs so quality is critical. We believe in training our employees, classes for blueprint reading and general machining are supported through local colleges.
Required Experience:
• 5 years CNC Operating
• 5 years Fanuc or Haas control
• 5 years with inspection tools

We are currently offering 3 Shifts:
Shift 1- 5:00 am- 1:30 pm
Shift 2- 6:00 am- 2:30 pm
Shift 3- 7:00 am- 3:30 pm
