What we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will have experience on how to inspect machined parts per customer and company documentation. This documentation may include Job Travelers, customer drawings, EO’s, PO’s, etc. Must be able to use inspection tools and know which tool to use for dimensions being checked. Must be able to review the Job Traveler to ensure that all operations have been checked and that paperwork is complete. Must be able to clearly document inspection findings. This position requires experience on the CNC CMM using PC DIMAS. This position works cooperatively with the machine shop to ensure quality meets the highest standards possible. Complete first piece, in-process, and final inspections, complete AS9102’s, setup parts for SPC, write non-conformances, prepare customer quality forms/records, buyoff supplier certification. Will be responsible for maintaining 6S at all times.

Typical Day at W Machine Works Inc.

Typical day includes inspecting a wide variety of military and commercial aerospace parts. Lots sizes are small so there is never a dull moment.

Required Experience:

  • 3 Years CNC CMM Experience
  • 3 Years Quality Inspection
  • 3 Years Blueprint Reading

We are currently seeing a candidate for the 2nd shift (all shifts working overtime)

Shift 2: 2:00 pm- 10:30 pm

All shifts are Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly plus overtime.
